As you may be aware SSFA is a participant in the FNSW SAP program for boys in u9 to u12 age groups & girls in the u10 to u13 age groups. These
squads are made up of local players who nearly all started playing at one of our SSFA member clubs.
Over the last couple of weeks the SSFA has been running a no cost programme on the main pitch at 5Sports where several of our A Grade teams (10A, 11A and
12A) have been invited to play training games on a Wednesday night in a Round Robin format (5 x 13-15 minute games) with the SAP squads.
The training games will allow for extra interaction between SSFA SAP players/coaches & local club players/coaches which the SSFA believe will be positive
in building a relationship which will encourage improved coaching practices & better development for players & coaches.
It is vitally important that we make the playing/coaching learning experience positive & enjoyable for both players/coaches & I encourage you to
take up this opportunity.
Last Wednesday evening both the 10A and 12A took part in the programme. Here are some photos from the 10A’s games with Lilli Pilli 10A, Georges River
