STEP 1 – REGISTER 

ALL (NEW & EXISTING) players must self-register online @ www.playfootball.com.au 

We are an Active Kids Provider, if you wish to claim your Active Kids Voucher for your soccer registration (available for U06-U18 players only, attending school). Apply for your voucher online before registering: www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-active-kids-voucher

All players moving into U10/W10, U11/W11 and U12/W12 in the current season as well as any new players from U12/W12 onwards will need to upload a new photo.

* Playing life members are $150.

PLEASE NOTE: no glasses to be worn in ID photographs, unless they are sports glasses. If necessary, the following documentation is required for EC approval of sports glasses and should be emailed to registrar@gufc.com.au

  • photo of player with sports glasses on
  • letter from optometrist detailing the type of glasses purchased (with player name) and their specifications, including specific mention of the make, material and durability.
  • Manufacturers specification of the sports glasses.

Family discount:

$30 per senior player (U21 and over)
$15 per junior player (U6-U18 inclusive)

If you are registering online, please pay in full and email finance@gufc.com.au to check eligibility. When Active Kids vouchers are taken into account, family discounts are only paid against out of pocket expenses

To be eligible you must:

  • register three or more players
  • be a spouse, de facto spouse, father, mother, brother, sister, son or daughter (including step) grandfather, grandmother, granddaughter or grandson living in the same residence.

2021 Returning Player rebate:

As part of a GUFC led initiative, players that played with Gymea in 2021 are eligible to claim a COVID-19 rebate on their registration fees. Rebates will be offered when submitting your registration application through the www.Playfootball.com.au website. To be eligible for the COVID-19 reduced registration fee, the player must have been registered with GUFC at the 2021 season cancellation in early July.  Players that deregistered throughout the season are not eligible.

Late registration:

Applicable from 21st February, higher registration fees apply $20 (U8-U18) and $30 (U21 and over).

Payment of registration:

It is important to remember that your registration is not accepted by GUFC until full payment has been received. Late fees will apply, refer to above table. Fees must be paid in full before players can attend grading, training or trial games. No player is covered by insurance until they are registered.

Refunds:

Any player withdrawing from a team after the completion of grading will forfeit a percentage of his/her SSFA fees.

In-person at GUFC registration days

New GUFC players require proof of birth and proof of Sutherland Shire residency before registration can be finalized.
SSFA requires that proof of birth is made in the form of the player’s birth certificate or passport.
Documentation for proof of residency may include the parent or guardian’s:
  1.  Drivers License with the address unaltered (ie. a change in address sticker on the back in not accepted);
  2.  Council Rate Notice;
  3.  A recent statement from a government or financial institution;
  4.  Documents not accepted include phone, utility or electricity account statements.

Our Clubhouse will be open ornew players/parents bringing in original documents for sighting by committee or those who are experiencing difficulties with the online system. Please see important dates listed at the top of the page and follow our social media for updates.

STEP 2 – GRADING

U6-U7 will attend a muster session and team grading session.

U08 – U18 must attend an individual grading, venue TBA

*U18 teams can provide a team sheet for teams already formed
