Yesterday, Friday May 4th 2018, was International Firefighters Day.
Today, Bangor FC showed their support and appreciation for the courage displayed by Menai RFS firefighters.
GUFC’S 6F/1 had a fabulous time this morning playing at Bangor Brumbies’ miniroos home ground, Billa Oval, where they met the Menai Bushfire Brigade personnel
… along with their truck!
All the teams had red and blue tape wrapped on their arms as a band to show respect and appreciation to the fire fighters who worked so hard to keep our
community safe. Some of the other teams also wore red and blue ribbons in support of this great cause.
Well done Bangor FC, what a great day of celebration for the RFS firefighters hard work and courage in fighting the recent fires in our area.
