Online Training Allocation Procedures for 2019

We have a new online system for recording Coach & Manager details and ALL Training Allocations for 2019.

ONLY COACHES OR MANAGERS REGISTERED VIA OUR CLUB SSFA SHARED SERVICES WEBSITE CAN REQUEST A TRAINING TIME SLOT.

IN 2019 ALL TEAMS WILL NEED TO HAVE BOTH A REGISTERED COACH and MANAGER TO GAIN TEAM TRAINING ALLOCATIONS FINAL APPROVAL.

  • All Allocations and requests are to be completed via our Club SSFA Shared Services WEBSITE - www.ssfaservices.com.au
  • GUFC and Shared Services will NOT be accepting any email or verbal requests for 2018 and beyond
  • You must first register on GUFC's SSFA Shared Services website - www.ssfaservices.com.au - register with Gymea United FC following the online form
  • Add a team to your profile and you will be able to select a training allocation within the pre-set rules
  • Enter a “Club Team Name” (this should be the name of the team provided to you at grading, which is used before the formal SSFA Grading).  Senior teams should use their team name from the 2018 season
  • Or Select an SSFA Grade (this section will be greyed out until formal SSFA grading is completed in March)
  • You can only select a timeslot that is showing available within the rules for your age group and you can only choose 1 slot per week. There is an option to request a second slot BUT these requests can only be considered after all other teams have their allocation
  • You will be able to view the exact space/zone that you are requesting on the map (see copy below)
  • After you have booked your training slot, you will receive a confirmation email, so make sure your email is entered correctly
  • You will be able to view the Live Training Allocation Calendar throughout the season when you log into www.ssfaservices.com.au

GUFC has approximately 135 teams and finding a convenient training time for all of them is difficult. Therefore, our club has set up Training Allocation Rules that apply to all teams so that GUFC & Shared Services can manage the training schedule whilst following our duty of care.

If slots are left unfilled, GUFC may then offer them to teams from other age groups or for a second day. But we have to be mindful of safety aspects and prefer not to have U6 teams training alongside senior teams for example.

It is understood that there are many dynamics to consider within each team, their families, work and other activities. Unfortunately, every possibility cannot be accommodated, though we will do our best. The Training Allocation Rules have been structured based on previous seasons' Training Allocation Schedules.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR TRAINING PRE-SEASON AND DURING THE SEASON

Training at fields other than our club allocated fields, Gymea Bay Ovals 1 & 2 and Kareela 2 (Tue or Thur only) is strictly prohibited by the Sutherland Shire Football Association and sanctions, such as fines may be levied. Also training at other fields may leave you (the Coach and/or Manager) personally liable, as no Insurance is provided for the players or yourselves as officials.
