Special Arrangements for 2020 Team Ground Control due to conditions imposed by Covid-19 Restrictions
Ground Control duty is an important part of our club’s operations and due to COVID we have had to make changes this year to the way we setup and pack up fields and we thank you for your help and patience through this season.
On a Saturday morning we have assigned three teams to setup both fields, once the fields are setup the parents can go home. Then for the rest of Saturday if you are the last team playing on a certain size field you will need to pack up straight after your match as the next size field is schedule to play straight after. If you are the first team play on a new size field you will need to setup your field with some urgency to keep games flowing on time. If you are the last team playing you will need to pack up your field and any garbage bins and signs that have been put out.
On a Sunday if you are the first team playing you will need to setup your field and also place out garbage bins and any signs that ground control instruct you to. If you are the last team playing you will need to pack up your field, bring in any garbage bins and signs.
If you are playing at Kareela 2 first teams will setup and last team will pack up, please note on a Saturday goals can be left out but must be packed away on a Sunday. The team setting up will need to collect the box with match sheets etc from Gymea Ground Control and the last team will need to bring back to Gymea Ground Control.
If you are the first team playing at Kareela 3 on a Saturday you will need to put up the goals, your match sheets will be in the Kirrawee club house.
If you are on setup or pack up at Waratah Park 3, the setup team will need to come to Gymea Ground control to get the box and key, if you are on pack up you will need to bring the box and key back to Gymea Ground Control.
For Box Road 3 setup or pack up there is a container on the bottom field that will have the nets and Sylvania will give you instructions.
Please speak to your team and coordinate your team’s involvement.
