THANK YOU to all the teams who have taken the time to familiarise themselves with the Covid19 requirements.  The SSFA General Manager has asked us to again remind our members of individual requirements that should be in place – please (re)read the following:

Further information

PLEASE – we must all (every player, family, supporter, coach and manager) work TOGETHER to stay safe & ensure Football can continue to be played in 2020!

We have asked everyone attend with one parent/carer and minimise the number of siblings and other family members attending games. We know this isn’t always possible and the circumstances of each family is different. We ask everyone do their best to minimise crowding and follow social distancing (1.5m) laws.  Players should avoid unnecessary contact whilst playing eg distance from each other on benches, avoid huddles & multiplayer celebrations and bring along your own drink bottle. Please do not also share food eg oranges & lollies.  Please plan to arrive being prepared to play and leave venues after your game as soon as possible.

GUFC have taken several steps to reduce the risks including:

– we are not operating the bbq at Gymea Bay Oval
– we have closed the change rooms at Gymea Bay Oval
– we have spread out miniroo games
– we have hand sanitiser, clean pens etc at Gymea Bay Oval
– we have rearranged ground control & procedures for filling out match sheets
