Thank you for your interest in the Gymea United Football Academy held at Gymea Bay Oval.

The purpose of the academy is to provide players of the Gymea United FC the opportunity to develop their football skills by professional coaches in our own backyard. There is no selection process although all attendees will be placed in groups of similar ability. The Academy is for both beginner and elite players looking to further develop their footballing skills.

The 2021 program will be run by the PLAYFUTBOL ACADEMY.

This program differs to the School holiday camp which is focused on fun events and football development. The Gymea United Football Academy program is primarily focused on a highly successful ‘skills development program’ although there will certainly be fun elements, particularly for the younger brigade.

The Gymea United Football Academy is an 8-10 week program (dependent on term) and will be run throughout the 2021 season during school terms. Should sessions be lost to wet weather, the academy will either run an additional sessions, extend sessions or provide a credit for further programs. Children who are unavailable on an organised training day will forfeit that day only.
