Ground Control duty is an important part of our club’s operations we thank volunteering Coaches and Managers who help manage this responsibility each week for our home games.

On a Saturday morning we have assigned three teams to setup both fields, once the fields are setup the parents can go home.  Then for the rest of Saturday if you are the last team playing on a certain size field you will need to pack up straight after your match as the next size field is schedule to play straight after.  If you are the first team play on a new size field you will need to setup your field with some urgency to keep games flowing on time.  If you are the last team playing you will need to pack up your field and any garbage bins and signs that have been put out.

On a Sunday teams have been allocated to AM and PM shifts and must follow the instructions shared with the assistance of the GUFC Committee person assigned to your shift. If you are the last team playing you will need to pack up your field, bring in any garbage bins and signs.

If you are playing at Kareela 2 first teams will setup and last team will pack up, please note on a Saturday goals can be left out but must be packed away on a Sunday.  The team setting up will need to collect the box with match sheets etc from Gymea Ground Control and the last team will need to bring back to Gymea Ground Control.

If you are the first team playing at Kareela 3 on a Saturday you will need to put up the goals, your match sheets will be in the  Kirrawee club house.

Please speak to your team and coordinate your team’s involvement.
