Gymea Bay Oval is open for training from 12 March 2012.

All teams are asked to respect and abide by this. Use of the Oval belongs to the Cricket Club before this date.

u6 and u7 training

u6 and u7 training will be held Tuesday 4.30-5.30. All u6 and u7 teams are asked to train at this time - it creates a good environment for the kids and ensures the teams/club can support each other.

u8 and over - how to organise a training time....

It's the job of each team coach/manager, in consultation with their players/parents, to arrange training.

Due to the size of our club and the space on Gymea Bay Oval, all team training times need to be scheduled.

Teams can contact Michael Leitch, GUFC committee, to do this.

Please note, due high demand not all teams will be able to train on Gymea Bay Oval Tues, Wed and Thurs. Space is available at Kareela 2 on Tues and Thurs. We are also trying to secure another field close to Gymea on Wed night.

Only once your team is formed - and a coach/manager appointed - can you contact Michael. Therefore, all junior teams - u6-u18 - will need to wait until after grading.

A note about Jenola Ovals....

Sutherland Shire Hockey Association has written to all Shire Football Clubs to remind them football teams are not permitted to train/play at Jenola Oval. Please respect this request.
